W is for Wagner // W für Wagner

I entered a little art competition, just for the fun of it (there's apparently a small prize, but I've no idea what). The remit: creatively interpret "The Bayreuth Festival Theater" and keep it to A4 max.! Performances of Wagner's operas have started again - been there, worn the frock, sat on the uncomfortable seats - so I took inspiration from outside the opera house instead, where there is a fairly impressive, if not dramatic, flower bed, shaped somewhat like the Wagner Family crest.

I'm not the only one working with yarn out here. "Thread of fate" by Japanese artist Chiharu Shiota quite took my breath away. I need to go back again and figure out how she worked this.
