Change the Future

I hope the message is clear.

Thank you to the Netzwerk Entwicklungspolitik im Saarland e.V. for getting me fired up and involving me in the campaign for "A GOOD LIFE IS SIMPLE" - about living a good life without this taking its toll on our natural resources. Recycling, mending, avoiding the creation of (plastic) waste, supporting local producers - these are all things I am wholeheartedly behind.
The European Union is supporting this campaign in many towns and cities as part of the Change the Future project. The message needs to get across to as many people as possible, which is why I crocheted it! In keeping with the project mission, the yarn is recycled from an installation in the "Pae White - Spacemanship" exhibition in the Saarland Museum's Modern Gallery, which was taken down at the beginning of the year. I hope someone noticed the colours on this rainy day and went in to find out more about what they also can do to change the future.
